In order to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas season and time with family and friends, we are submitting an abbreviated newsletter. |
Chairman's Update |
|
Dear Friends and Fellow Republicans, Welcome to the New Year and I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I extend our warmest wishes to you and your families. May this time be filled with joy, reflection, and renewed hope. I would like to sincerely thank the many candidates who have stepped forward to take on the responsibility of running for public service. Your willingness to serve your communities is commendable, and we wish each of you the very best of luck in your upcoming primaries. Our party is stronger because of your courage, commitment, and desire to lead. We are also deeply grateful to the many volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and talents to support our GOP organization. Your dedication behind the scenes and in the field makes all the difference, and we could not do this work without you. |

Chairman's Update Continued This season also calls us to lift one another up. We offer special prayers and blessings to our colleagues and friends who lost loved ones last year, as well as to those who are facing illness or other challenges. May you feel strength, comfort, and the support of our entire community. As we look ahead, we ask for special blessings of peace within our organization. May we continue to find a path toward working together with respect and unity, remembering that when we do, we accomplish much. Together, with share purpose and goodwill, we can make the coming year one of progress and success. God Bless All of You and Happy New Year. Sincerely, Andro Lerario Chairman |

GENEVA Dear Friends and Neighbors of Geneva, As we reflect on the past year, many of us can name moments of challenge, change, and uncertainty. Yet alongside those moments, we have also seen resilience, kindness, and a steady willingness to look out for one another. These are the qualities that define Geneva at its best. As we move into the coming year, my hope is that we continue to choose patience over division, understanding over assumption, and care over indifference. Small acts—listening, helping a neighbor, showing respect—have a powerful way of shaping the larger story of a community. May the year ahead bring peace to our homes, strength to those who are struggling, and renewed hope for what we can build together. Geneva’s future is strongest when we remember our shared humanity and our responsibility to one another. One way we can do that is to attend GENEVA VOICES, where we host community speakers to talk about Geneva's challenges and try to help resolve them with the help of the community. Watch for the next date in January in our newsletter. We are planning a fun nite of Trivia for March 7, 2026 so please Save that Date! More to come. We also delivered diapers and other baby goods to the Chapelstreet Church Baby Bank in Geneva to help them stock their shelves. See the photos. You are always invited to join us at our meetings on the third Monday, 7PM, at the GOP Offices, 333 N Randall Rd, St Charles. Wishing you and your loved ones health, calm, and hope in the year ahead. Sue Dixon, Chairwoman |

Congratulations, Jayden!!Washington, D.C. — Summer 2026 I am honored to share that I have been accepted to intern at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. this summer. The Heritage Foundation selects only about 60 interns nationwide during the summer term, most of whom are upperclassmen in college. Being chosen as a freshman is a tremendous privilege, and I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, offered guidance, and encouraged me throughout my advocacy journey. Your belief in me continues to shape the work I do and the goals I set. This summer, I will be serving in the Outreach Department — an area I am deeply passionate about. I believe that meaningful outreach, grounded in listening and connection, is essential to strengthening our movement in Illinois. Ensuring that every community and every voter feels heard is how we continue to grow, improve, and move forward together. I look forward to learning as much as I can in Washington and returning home with new skills, knowledge, and energy to help serve the greater Kane County area and the State of Illinois. Thank you again for your support — it means more than I can say. A special thank you to my very close friend and colleague Erik Troe for all your support and guidance on this initiative. |

Return to Innocence: A Generation Caught Between Digital Overload and the Erosion of Boundaries, Imagination and InnocenceBy Amanda Szulc December 16, 2025 “Return to Innocence.” It is not simply the title of a song by Enigma. It has become a plea — a sober call to reclaim what our culture has allowed to slip away. As an early childhood educator, I am watching childhood innocence disappear at a pace I never thought possible. Imagination is fading. Dramatic play is nearly gone. The comforting visuals that defined my own upbringing have been replaced by overstimulation, constant noise, and a dependence on screens.
